Coon Fork Lake County Park is located 4 miles east of the City of Augusta. The day use park, to the west of the lake, includes beach, boat landing, and reservable picnic shelter without electricity. The campground is located on the east side of Coon Fork Lake, east of the City of Augusta, and is for use by registered campers and their guests. There are a total of 108 sites all of which are reservable. Barrier-free sites with electricity are available. Loop D contains 20 larger campsites for use by self-contained camping units only and have water and electricity. Regular season amenities include watercraft rentals, firewood, showers, sanitary dump station, hiking and mountain bike trails, and swimming beach with no lifeguard. Boats are allowed but limited to electric trolling motors only. Pets are allowed when kept on a leash no longer than eight feet and under the owner's control at all times. |
