Lake Altoona County Park Main Shelter
 Facilities include a clubhouse and two shelters for graduation parties, family or business gatherings, a large beach area, cooking grills, volleyball courts, and playgrounds. There are no lifeguards on duty, swimming will be done at your own risk. Pets are NOT allowed at this park. There are two picnic shelters (with electricity) that is reservable. Main shelter seats approximately 50 people with a maximum capacity of 100 people. Groups of 200 people or more MUST reserve both the clubhouse and main shelter adjacent to the clubhouse, 300 maximum. Smoking is not allowed within 25' or the clubhouse. The park season opens May 15 and closes October 15. Reservations are booked strictly on a first-come, first serve basis.
