Lake Altoona County Park Shelter
 Facilities include a clubhouse and shelter for graduation parties, family or business gatherings, a large beach area, cooking grills, volleyball courts, and playgrounds. There are no lifeguards on duty, swimming will be done at your own risk. There is one picnic shelter (with electricity) that is reservable and seats approximately 50 people. Picnic shelter has a minimum capacity of 100 people. Groups of 200 people or more MUST reserve both the clubhouse and shelter, 300 maximum. Smoking is not allowed within 25' or the clubhouse. The park season opens May 15 and closes October 15. Reservations are booked strictly on a first-come, first serve basis. Call the Lake Altoona Park office at (715) 834-9042 for further inquiries.
